Schantz Haus is the Homestead of Joseph Schantz, (Johns), the Amishman who founded the city of Johnstown.

The homestead is currently a dairy farm owned and operated by Bill and Jeanette Hunsberger and sons. The farm sits on 120 acres of land providing woods, pasture, cropland and housing for a one hundred and fifty cow, Holstein herd. The farm is located in Davidsville, easily accessed off of Rt. 219 and close to other locations of historical significance.
